Why this course

Most clubs sell sponsorship the hard way.

They send the same deck to every company, price their kit by instinct, sign contracts written in a hurry, and lose sponsors at renewal without knowing why. The money is there. The method usually isn’t.

The same deck for everyone.

Kit, LED, banners, price list. Sponsors receive ten of these a season and pick the cheapest.

Prices nobody can explain.

If you can’t show how you got to the number, the sponsor negotiates it down.

Promises without proof.

Logos delivered, nothing reported. At renewal the sponsor remembers a few photos and a big invoice.

Money that arrives late.

Invoices sent on the due date, no payment plan, no follow-up. The contract is signed and the account is still empty.

The Sponsorship Manager trains the whole cycle, on your own club, until it becomes a habit.

The whole cycle, trained on your own club. Start with the first two rounds free.

How it works

Learn it. Play it. Build it.

01

Learn.

Short lessons, each followed by one hard question. Four answers that all sound right; only one follows the method. Right on the first try: 10 points.

02

Play.

Missions on your own club: your income, your partners, your prices, your contracts. A coach checks your work and stops you until it is good enough to use.

03

Build.

Every round ends with a page of your Sponsorship Playbook. Fourteen rounds later you have a working plan, ready for Monday morning.

A lesson question with the worked answer

The questions are hard on purpose. Every answer comes with the reasoning.

Rounds 1–2 are free. The rest of the season opens with one license key.

Made for your club

Sign your contract with any club, in any sport.

Football, basketball, handball, volleyball, ice hockey, rugby, water polo, futsal. Choose your club, its level and its colours, and the whole game takes them on. Every mission uses your club’s name, your city and your numbers.
The game in four different club colours

Inside the season

A full sponsorship season, from the first idea to the renewal.

Act I · Foundations

Why sponsorship matters, and what you are really selling.

01

Why sponsorship matters

The revenue map of your club and what your partner list tells the market.

02

The business and the person who runs it

Sponsorship as a business, and the mindset of the manager who runs it.

03

What sponsors really want

Visibility, engagement and sales, and the five things only a club can sell.

04

Your club’s brand, data and difference

Your story, your heroes, your strengths, and the numbers a marketing director trusts.

The revenue map of your club

Act II · The offer and the hunt

Build the products, then go and find the buyers.

05

The sponsorship factory

Inventory, fair prices with CPM and media equivalency, house rules and packages.

06

The sponsor hunt

Former sponsors, other clubs’ sponsors, their competitors, the street and the media: a map of 50+ prospects.

07

The club that sells itself

A sponsorship landing page, staff and supporters as ambassadors, agencies and one funnel.

Act III · Closing the deal

From the first email to the signature.

08

The first door

The sponsor file, the first email, the first call, warm introductions and LinkedIn.

09

The meeting

Prepare four layers, show instead of tell, answer objections and close cleanly, with live simulations.

10

The contract

Advertising, sponsorship or barter; deliverables, exclusivity, bonuses and exit clauses.

Act IV · Delivering and keeping

Keep every promise, get paid, and renew.

11

From contract to delivery

Extract every deliverable, organise by category, prepare materials and hand over to the departments.

12

The sponsor who stays

The first 30 days, activations, bad news handled well, new projects that become traditions.

13

Proof and money

The season report, the one-page CEO version, the payment plan, invoices and cash flow.

14

Renewal

Retention as a KPI, the renewal calendar, an honest review, a better offer and the negotiation.

The final · Three minutes.

Present your plan for your chosen sponsor in a three-minute pitch, and blow the final whistle on your season.

Fourteen rounds, the final pitch, and the Playbook that comes out of them.

The CPM price calculator with the season value

ROUND 5

Price it like a professional.

Enter your arena, TV and online reach, choose a CPM, and watch the season value appear. Then check it against media equivalency and what comparable clubs charge.

  • CPM, media equivalency and benchmarks
  • Rules for discounts, bonuses and dependencies
  • A price you can explain in one sentence
Building Gold, Silver and Bronze packages

ROUND 5

Packages that are easy to buy.

Turn your inventory into Gold, Silver and Bronze. The coach checks that every tier makes sense before you can move on.

  • A full inventory of everything you can sell
  • Upsell and cross-sell built in
  • Adapt to a budget without cutting the price
A sponsor map with more than 50 scored prospects

ROUND 6

Fifty prospects, scored and ranked.

Pull in former sponsors, other clubs’ partners and their competitors, the industries of your region and the brands you see on billboards and TV. Score them for budget, relevance and pressure, and attack the top ten first.

  • Warm leads, proven investors, cold prospects
  • A scoring method you can repeat every season
  • A plan of attack for the first ten

Three rounds in, and you already have a price, a package and a shortlist. Start free, then unlock the rest.

The sponsorship landing page you build for your club
A first email to a prospect, previewed

ROUNDS 7–8

A landing page and a first email that get replies.

Build your club’s sponsorship page with a live preview, then write a four-block email under 150 words, with a coach that flags begging words, missing numbers and vague calls to action.

  • A page that sells while you sleep
  • Emails about them, with numbers
  • Calls, warm doors and LinkedIn, step by step
A meeting simulation with a marketing director

ROUND 9

Rehearse the meeting before it happens.

Sit across the table from a marketing director, then from a hard one. Choose your lines, see how she reacts, and learn why each answer works or fails.

  • Simulations with different sponsors
  • A bank of objections and answers
  • A one-page summary to leave behind
Building an advertising contract with deliverables, bonuses and exit clauses

ROUND 10

Contracts you can actually sign.

Choose the right contract for the deal, build it clause by clause, and spot the risky ones. You get three working templates, advertising, sponsorship and barter, each with its annexes.

  • Deliverables with numbers, never ‘prominent exposure’
  • Exclusivity, bonuses and exit clauses on paper
  • A real legal framework explained, using Romania as the example

This is the middle of the season. The last act is where the money comes in.

Extracting every deliverable from five signed contracts

ROUND 11

Deliver every promise.

Read five signed contracts, extract every service, group them by category and hand each one to the department that delivers it, with a deadline and a proof.

  • A deliverables matrix for the whole season
  • Materials and deadlines per asset
  • Proof collected for the report
The payment plan and the cash-flow map of a season

ROUND 13

Get paid, on time.

Build the payment plan for five partners with their own rules: structures, VAT, and when each invoice must leave. The cash-flow map shows the month your club would run short.

  • Payment structures that protect the club
  • Invoices that get approved the first time
  • A follow-up and escalation plan for late payments
Building a renewal offer: last season against next season

ROUND 14

Renew, and grow.

Start the conversation on the sponsor’s budget calendar, review the season honestly, and build an offer that is better than last year without a hidden discount.

  • Retention, the KPI that matters
  • Repackaging and bonuses instead of discounts
  • An announcement when a sponsor stays, and a graceful exit when one leaves

Every screen above is part of the full season. One payment, lifetime access.

A game you have to finish

Points, ranks and a coach who doesn’t let things slide.

Every round ends with three Final Whistle decisions taken from real sponsorship situations. The answers all sound professional; the points go to the one that protects the club and the partnership. Climb from Intern to Commercial Director and collect a badge for every round.

Who is behind it

Daniel Carciug

Former Commercial Director at FC Rapid · Advises clubs around the world, including Genoa CFC

I spent about ten years in sports business: sponsorship, ticketing, merchandising, event days, brand and communication. Everything in this game comes from deals I signed, lost or renewed. I built it the way I would train a new person in my commercial office: short lessons, real situations, and work on your own club from day one.
